Happy Holidays and Happy New Year From UX is Fine
Howdy!
What a year. We expanded strategic relationships, elevated creative and technical leaders, and executed on our core mission: Building AMAZING games with our partners.
We shared what we learned with the global game dev community—online through videos and blogs, and in person at conferences around the world.
The result is a stronger, more capable studio—excited to take on the ambitious projects we love.
This year, we traveled farther than ever—attending conferences, meeting new studios, sharing our vision of game UX and UI, and learning from the global development community. Aqaba, Baltimore, Busan, Frankfurt, Las Vegas, Poznań, Sarasota, Vancouver, and more… each stop reinforced how open, curious, and generous this industry can be.
We also went deeper. We mentored indie studios in Riyadh through the Exel by Merak Game Accelerator, trained our first UX/UI cohort in Hyderabad with Gameshastra, and conducted a month-long workshop in Hanoi with Vietnam’s top game development studios as part of the Google Hit Makers initiative.
One highlight was XDS25 in Vancouver, where our UX is Fine booth won Most Engaging Exhibitor Booth at the Gary Awards. The recognition captured what we aim to bring to every event: curiosity, openness, and honest conversations about real design challenges.
We crossed 5,000 followers on LinkedIn this year, fueled by consistent thought sharing, behind-the-scenes slices of work, and plenty of imperfect problem solving.
Everywhere we went people told us they felt like they already knew us through our YouTube streams and blogs. That connection has become one of the most energizing parts of our work.
We head into the new year with a stronger global presence, expanded capabilities, deeper partnerships, and a clearer sense of who we are as a studio. Thank you to everyone who worked with us, learned with us, visited our booth, tuned into a stream, or reached out.
Enjoy the season. Rest well. Happy holidays from all of us at UX is Fine. We will be back soon with new ideas, new experiments, and a lot more design to share.
